BE Group once again prepared the Warrington Annual Property Review for Warrington & Co. and Warrington Borough Council – now in its 28^th edition!

Vince Sandwell, Director, presented the findings of the Property Review to a full house at the Park Royal, with attendees including a broad range of property and industry leaders.

Warrington continues to perform above its weight in terms of economic growth, with 41% GVA growth between 2013 and 2023, the strongest of any UK city or town. Jobs growth has been 5^th highest of UK cities and towns, growing by 23%.

In 2025, the property market saw some 727,000 sqft of industrial floorspace transacted, with the largest deal at Indurent 420 to Regency Glass for 421,000 sqft. Approximately 170,000 sqft of office space was transacted across 28 deals.

Already three months into 2026, the days are slowly getting longer, and the daffodils are flowering around us in Birchwood Park. And our new website has blossomed as well! We hope you are enjoying it and finding it useful to learn all about BE Group.

We are off to a flying start in 2026. BE Group have been awarded new employment land studies in Rochdale, Trafford, Warrington and Newport, as well as continuing employment studies in Gosport, Winchester and South Gloucestershire, commenced in late 2025. So we have been busy with site inspections up and down the country, assessing local property markets, talking to stakeholders, critiquing employment sites and forecasting local employment needs for our clients. 

Chris and Anthony attended the Local Plan Examination in January on behalf of the Central Lancashire local authorities (Chorley, South Ribble, Preston) to provide employment land evidence. 

We are once again preparing the Annual Property Reviews for Warrington and Cheshire West and Chester, gathering the data of the property deals throughout 2025. So we have been reaching out to our local commercial agent colleagues to get the deals information and key pipeline projects. These will be published and launched in April/May.

BE Group has joined with WSP, Lucid and AFL Architects in preparing a visioning and feasibility study for Leigh Sports Village, home of Leigh Leopards, Manchester United Women and Leigh Harriers.
