Cavendish Nuclear, a supplier of specialist nuclear services, has agreed to let the entirety of the 47,100 sq ft 106 Dalton Avenue in Warrington’s Birchwood Park from landlord Patrizia.
The company will relocate from sites in Irlam and Daresbury Park.
The business delivers services across the lifecycle of nuclear energy including plant design and construction, site operations and maintenance, as well as nuclear decommissioning and waste management.
106 Dalton Avenue was formerly occupied by outsourcing company Webhelp, which vacated in July 2016. The building then underwent a refurbishment.
Kevin Garvie at Cavendish Nuclear, said: “Birchwood has been at the heart of the UK’s nuclear industry for many years, so it made complete sense for us to join this world-class cluster for nuclear engineering, research, training and project delivery.
“Enterprise Zone status gives us an unrivalled opportunity for collaboration with other science and engineering businesses, as well as support to grow. We’re delighted to become a part of the Cheshire Science Corridor Enterprise Zone and look forward to developing strong links here at Birchwood Park and beyond.”
Lambert Smith Hampton secured the premises on behalf of Cavendish Nuclear and will be project managing the fit-out of the three-storey office building, which will accommodate more than 550 members of staff.
