General
Anthony joined the BE Group team at the beginning of 2015, having been a property economist for 13 years in Australia. Anthony has undertaken numerous studies across the property sector, including industrial, commercial office, retail, tourism, leisure, residential, aged care and child care.
Anthony has completed a Master of Regional Development and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, both conferred by the University of Queensland. His dissertation for the Master’s degree investigated tourism planning and policies in local authorities in regional Queensland and the resulting impacts on the local tourism sector.
He has a broad background in providing consultancies to the public and private sectors, advising clients on individual development projects to long-term strategic planning. At BE Group, Anthony has led studies on the long-term provision of employment land for several local authorities and has provided advice on the market prospects and opportunities for specific development sites. He has provided strategic advice on town centres, industrial estates, business parks, mixed-use projects, Enterprise Zones and incubator centres.
Hobbies
Like other national shames, Kylie, Peter Andre and Fosters, Anthony has been banished from Australia. In his exile, he spends his time sandpapering at his local cricket club and trying to work out how 20°C equals ‘hot’.
