Following the purchase of the 24 acre former GE Technologies site, located on Foundry Lane in Widnes, Prospect Estates are underway with a refurbishment of the estate which has now been launched under the name of Widnes Business Park. Widnes Business Park provides an array of industrial and office accommodation set in an established commercial location.

Local property agency BE Group has been appointed to market the estate alongside Cushman & Wakefield. Simon Roddam of Warrington based BE Group commented “The variety of commercial space available at Widnes Business Park includes industrial warehousing, storage land and office accommodation. We have a flexible size mix available which enables us to accommodate a broad range of business requirements.” Simon added “With the Mersey Gateway Bridge now under construction, the locational benefits of Widnes Business Park are set to improve further”.

Richard Sherwood of Widnes Business Park Ltd, a company established by Prospect Estates to directly manage the estate, commented “It is encouraging to see a good level of demand from local occupiers at this early stage in the marketing drive. A comprehensive refurbishment strategy of the estate is well underway, with the majority of works to be completed before the end of the year”.

Widnes Business Park can accommodate industrial requirement from 1,000 sq ft unto 125,000 sq ft, and office requirements from 100 to 40,000 sq ft. Space is available to lease or for sale.
