Following on from BE Group’s Fish Park Feasibility Study in Torbay, we have now been appointed to undertake a further feasibility study for a Haverfordwest Food Park. Major stakeholder discussion with Wales’ largest potato producer, Puffin Produce, have been undertaken, and BE Group are now specialists in everything potato!!

Pembrokeshire County Council is seeking to capitalise on the strength and growth of the food and drink industry sector within the County. To achieve this BE Group, working with other partners, and building on experience gained in the Torbay study, has recently been appointed to undertake a feasibility study into the provision of a food park at Withybush, Haverfordwest. Work will include a baseline survey of food-related companies in Pembrokeshire; identification of opportunities for shared services for food related enterprises (office facilities, depot/cold storage and logistics); sites appraisal; production of indicative development options, including costings; research into best practice and comparable food parks/specialist development schemes elsewhere in the UK.
